This salary calculation worksheet for US full-time law firm marketers is based on statistical models developed with data from the LMA 2008 Salary Survey. Models were successfully developed for six of the eight standard legal marketing roles defined by LMA*.
The models provide moderately powerful predictive accuracy within relatively broad ranges - offering a rough idea of what professionals with similar characteristics and in similar situations earn, on average. They also provide a sense of the relative importance of each factor in predicting salaries. Because other factors not included in the models are known to influence salary (for example, individual job performance), they are not appropriately used as an absolute guideline for any single individual’s situation.
* Meaningful predictive models could not be constructed from these parameters for the "Sr Coordinator or Specialist" and "Assistant" roles.
